 By Visiting One Of Our Stores?
As you may already know, we are far from just being an online tool supply company. TradeTools Direct have many specialised tool stores throughout Australia & you can quite easily find your closest store on this website. The exact opening times of each store are shown in the store’s home page within this website. Most TradeTools Direct stores are open from 7.00am until 6.00pm weekdays & Saturdays between 8.00am & 4.00pm. We are regularly told that our stores are some of the best tool stores in the world – something that has been some decades in the making! Also, we pride ourselves on having staff that are highly experienced, extremely knowledgeable & easy to talk to. Our depth of stock is without parallel in Australia & we are hardly ever beaten on price!

Contacting Us By Phone?
There are no telephone receptionists or recorded menu prompts in any TradeTools Direct store. When you first phone us you should immediately be speaking with a highly experienced & professional salesperson. Even those who wish to buy online (described below) often need help & clarification prior to purchasing tools or related equipment. We never mind anyone phoning us for advice or pricing, in fact we very much encourage it as it can often make our job easier in the long run!
If you wish to make a purchase over the phone there are a few simple steps that we take for security reasons (both ours & your’s).
Our procedures change slightly, depending on the type of payment that suits you.
Payment By Cheque?
Simply phone your chosen TradeTools Direct store & arrange your purchase with a salesperson. When you first do this, please advise the salesperson that you will be paying by cheque. Goods will be despatched as soon as our bank has cleared your cheque.
Please always include the following information when you send your cheque:

A brief but accurate product description & model number if possible. |

Our salesperson’s name. |

Your full name & complete address with postcode. |
| • |
Your contact details - preferably your phone number & email address if possible. |
| • |
An accurate delivery address with postcode if it is different from your address given above. |
Payment By Credit Card?
We have adopted an interim procedure for credit card purchases made over the phone. This is primarily to make sure that you are the actual owner of the credit card being used. When you have decided what products you wish to buy, we must ask you to phone your chosen store & we will happily talk you through our credit card procedure. We will attempt to make sure that this process is as safe & as hassle free as possible.

Buying Online?
Please note that these instructions may seem a little long winded & many of the steps described do not need to be remembered. We hope that they will become quite obvious when you are viewing the necessary buying screens. If you experience any problems, then we are only an email or phone call away.
Firstly - within the TradeToolsDirect.com global web site there are a number of individual specialist tool stores each having their own website. When you decide to make a purchase we need you to choose which TradeTools Direct store that you wish to buy from? After choosing, you will notice that the vertical menu to the left changes & is immediately replaced by a horizontal (grey) menu towards the top of the screen. This menu relates only to the store that you have chosen & is highlighted by a red store name banner. You will notice an ‘EXIT Store’ button on the left of your screen that allows you to instantly return you to the main store page.
Procedure?
When you have found a product that you would like to purchase.

Click the ‘BUY ONLINE’ Button. You will be directed to the ‘Find a Store’ area. |

Either enter your postcode, or choose ‘Select a State’ - to show tool stores in your region. |

Select the store in your area. You are then ‘buying’ in that store. You are automatically returned to the product details screen which has all of the extra information that allows you to begin choosing products. |

Enter the quantity of each product that you require. At any time you may click the ‘shopping cart’ button to view details of products that you have previously selected. Once you are ready to complete your transaction, click the ‘shopping cart’ button. Then click the ‘checkout order’ button to arrange payment, freight, delivery details etc. |

You will now need to select your payment method to complete the transaction. Under 'payment method' you must select a method & you will be prompted to enter your payment details securely. Once you have filled in all required fields, you just click ‘confirm order details’ to complete your transaction. A transaction receipt will be automatically emailed to you together with an onscreen reference number for your records. |
